Delaware Department of Natural Resources & Environmental Control Projects

State Resource Areas
Office of the Secretary

Participated in creation of an outreach program to property owners, local governments and environmental organizations regarding State legislation to protect important natural resources throughout Delaware. Arranged, led and performed follow-up tasks for meetings with state and local environmental and planning agencies. Prepared a summary of the legislative requirements and the roles of program participants and reviewed and revised explanatory materials. Helped prepare guidelines for the protection of ecological features of resource areas.

Green Infrastructure
Office of the Secretary

Conducted internal and external interviews, reviewed Education Program and Needs Assessment and Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control information and education reports and prepared two reports, “Development of a Green Infrastructure Marketing and Communications Strategy” and “Strategic Communications Plan Development” which contains a draft Department mission statement and recommended messaging strategy.
