Executive Learning Center
United States Naval Academy


Kramer and Associates, Inc. worked in close coordination with the United State Naval Academy, Public Affairs Office to develop a community outreach and communications plan for a proposed Executive Learning Center. The plan also considered the broad range of Navy projects in planning for the Navy’s North Severn Area. The purpose of the outreach strategy was to provide information and to secure community support for the Navy’s Executive Learning Center. Tasks included review of the master plan and environmental documents, development of key messages about the learning center, impacts and benefits and conduct of a stakeholder listening tour involving Navy officials, local elected officials and community leaders.

Pedestrian Safety Program Strategic Plan

Kramer and Associates, Inc. is assisting in the preparation of the Federal Highway Administration's Pedestrian Safety Program Strategic Plan. The purpose of this effort is to guide the agency in effectively developing and disseminating products to reduce pedestrian fatalities and injuries and to increase pedestrian accessibility. Kramer and Associates, Inc. was an active participant in designing the stakeholder involvement process. Kramer and Associates, Inc. helped select the stakeholders, informed them about the project, obtained their agreement to participate. Addiitonally, Kramer and Associates, Inc. helped prepare workshop materials, set the workshop agenda, and handled workshop logistics. Kramer and Associates, Inc. facilitated the first Stakeholder Workshop that was focused on identifying pedestrian safety research needs and will prepare for and facilitate a second workshop that will concentrate on review of a draft pedestrian safety plan.
